Installation conditions : three options

1. CONCESSION CONTRACT:

• for a term of 10 to 30 years ;
• Investments to be made on the site granted on the basis of a concession ;
• Annual tonnage to be guaranteed by waterway :
  • 400 t/running metre of quay/year for general cargo and scrap;
  • 750 t/running metre of quay/year for bulk goods (coal, sand, ores,...) ;
  • 600 t/running metre of quay/year for mixed operations.

2. PRECARIOUS AUTHORISATION :

• occupation for an indefinite period, generally a short period (6 months, 1 year, 2 years, ...) ;
• notice, on either side : 1 month ;
• no heavy investment;
• highly flexible system for short-term operations.

3. AUTHORISATION FOR INDIVIDIUAL OPERATIONS :

• authorisation for one or several port loading / unloading operations or other
  (consolidation / breakdown of load, storage ) ;
• revocable, very time-limited.

COMMENTS :

1. Any structure or fixed installation has to be authorised by the port;
2. Urban planning, fire department, public inquiry chargeable to the customer /user.
