Board of Directors
The entity is governed by a Board of Directors comprising representatives of the:
- City of Liege;
- Walloon Region.
Under the Presidency by rights of the Mayor of the City of Liege, Willy DEMEYER, a 10-member Board of Directors manages the Liege Port Authority and they are elected for terms of six years, the terms of half of the members expiring every three years.
It is audited by two auditors accountable to the Walloon Government and an auditor accountable to the City of Liege.
The general manager of the Liege Port Authority acts as the Board of Directors' secretary, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Liege Port Authority as well as carrying out decisions taken by the Board of Directors.
